The Murphy Arts District released the following list of what can and can’t be brought to the venues for the grand opening festivities:

ALLOWED

Cellphones and chargers;

Empty, refillable plastic bottles;

Bug spray;

Hula hoops;

Cash and credit/debit cards;

Purse or wallet;

Wheelchairs, walkers or walking canes;

Sunscreen;

Small blankets;

Baby strollers;

Selfie sticks; and

Low-sitting, short-legged chairs that are less than 9 inches from the ground.

NOT ALLOWED

Outside food or beverages;

Outside alcohol or flasks;

Ice or ice packs;

Coolers;

Tobacco products;

Fake ID’s;

Glass containers;

Illegal substances, drugs or drug paraphernalia;

Totems or flags over 12 feet tall;

Illegal or unauthorized vending;

Knives or weapons of any kind, including concealed firearms;

Slingshots;

Animals or pets, though service animals are permitted;

Flammable lanterns or fire of any kind;

Fireworks or any type of explosives;

Skateboards, scooters or personalized motor vehicles;

Bicycles;

Wagons or carts of any type other than strollers;

Outside cans or cups;

Professional cameras, indicated by a detachable lens;

Professional video or audio recording devices;

Lasers or pointers;

Chains, chain wallets or spike jewelry;

Instruments, megaphones, horns or noise makers;

Soliciting;

Metal aerosol containers including sunscreen, pepper spray, bug repellent or spray paint, though non-flammable items are permitted;

Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles; and

Foldable chairs that sit higher than 9 inches from the ground.
