Balloon release: To help bring awareness of people struggling with mental issues and substance abuse and to celebrate those who have recovered, members of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a balloon release Monday. El Dorado Mayor Frank Hash read a proclamation in recognition of National Recovery Month. Ambassadors also announced a toiletry drive to benefit Turning Point, a violence intervention program, which will continue through Friday. Boxes for toiletry items will be set up at the chamber office and Mac’s Fresh Market.
