The annual Union County Master Gardeners have announced that their Sixth Annual Bulb Sale will be held from 9 a.m. until noon today at the South Arkansas Arboretum. Funds raised at the annual bulb sale will be used to fund their annual Dirt Friends Festival.
There will be carnival games with prizes and several activities with take home materials at Fall Fest Saturday scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources in Smackover. There will not be a costume contest, but children of all ages are encouraged to wear a costume. Admission is $5 for children under 12, adults are $3. Youngsters under age 2 are free. Canadian rock band Jeans ’n Classics will join forces with the South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra for a concert celebrating the music of the Beatles at 7:30 p.m. today at the Griffin Music Hall.
