Immanuel Baptist Church: The last Ladies Luncheon at Immanuel Baptist Church, 701 S. West Ave., El Dorado, will begin with serving at 11:30 a.m. and a program at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Adah Mayhan, who started the Ladies Luncheon over 24 years ago, will be the guest speaker. Her daughter, Cindy Greer, will provide special music. For more information, call the church at 862-4264.

Bouldware Temple Church of God in Christ: The 22 pastoral anniversary honoring superintendent Kelly Owens and First Lady Missionary Margie Owens will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church, located at 1611 Detroit St., El Dorado. The guest speaker will be superintendent Larry Ferguson and the Roadside Glover Memorial Church of God of Christ. Guest pastors and churches include Elder Sandy Brown and Starlight Church of God and Christ, Elder Herbert Ridgell Jr. and The Sunlight Church of God in Christ, Elder Jemie Davis and The Monticello #1 Church of God and Christ, Superintendent Roy Wesley and the New Hope Church of God in Christ, Pastor Joyce Easter and The True Worship Ministry and Elder Murphy Joe Aaron and The Holy Ghost Love Church of God in Christ.

Calion Assembly of God Church: A Saturday night singing will be held at 6 p.m. tonight. Come and enjoy the singing and refreshment to follow.

College Avenue Church of Christ: A carnival in the park will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 29, at Neel Park. There will be food, games, prizes and fun for the whole family! Costumes are optional and it is a free event.

Curry Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church: A prayer breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. Oct. 28 at the church, located at 250 F St., Strong. Registration will be $5 and the theme will be unlocking your destiny. The guest speaker will be the first lady Belinda Johnson of Fairview Faith and Worship Ministries. Everyone is invited to come and be blessed.

East Main Baptist Church: A fall festival will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 28. There will be games, door prizes, two bounces houses, cookie walk, free hot dogs, Frito chili pies, popcorn and $1 funnel cakes. A Life share Blood Drive will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. inside the fellowship hall. First St. James Missionary Baptist Church: The 88th church anniversary celebration will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the church, located at 523 Hawthorne St., El Dorado. The guests for the event will be the Rev. Billy Artis and Mount Zion Urbana Missionary Baptist Church. Revival services will be 7 p.m. Monday to Wednesday. The evangelist will be Dr. Pierce Moore of First Baptist Church.

El Dorado Seventh-day Adventist Church: The church will host a series called “A Pale Horse Rides” starting at 7 p.m. Friday and continuing at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the church at 165 Dusty Road, El Dorado. The series will take a documentary-style, Bible-based approach to Christianity’s future and stories from the 1,200 years that led up to Martin Luther’s Reformation. The event is free and all in attendance will receive a copy of Shawn Boonstra’s book “A Pale Horse Rides.”

Freewill Baptist Church: A harvest drive will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1320 E. Faulkner St., El Dorado. Pastor Doyle McGhee and Willow Grove Church will be the guests and lunch will be served.

Jerusalem Quinn Baptist Church: Harvest Day program will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the church, located at 643 Quinn Road, El Dorado. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Robert Cunningham and the congregation of Christ Missionary Baptist Church.

Little Bethel Baptist Church of El Dorado: A celebration for the 51 pastoral anniversary of pastor Leon Miller and wife will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. Apostle Lornell Grayson and the New Life Deliverance Worship Center will be the special guests. Everyone is invited.

Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church #2: A harvest drive day will be held at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the church. The guest will be the Rev. Michael Wilson and Whitest Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Camden. Lunch will be from 1 to 2:15 p.m.

Mount Olive Baptist Church: Pastoral Anniversary services for the Rev. Raymond Calloway will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church. The guest speaker will be Dr George Calloway Jr. and The St. James Baptist Church family. The public is invited.

New Providence Church: An annual men’s day will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the church. Bro. Clark Smith will be the speaker. Linch will be provided and everyone is welcome to attend.

Parkview Baptist Church: A Fifth Sunday Singing will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 29 at the church on the corner of 8th Street and College. The singing will feature Mike Nutter and Friends, with a fellowship to follow. Call 863-3336 for more information.

Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church: An annual homecoming day will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. The guest speaker will be pastor Enxo White and the congregation of Beulah Grove Baptist Church of Wesson. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. Revival service will follow at 7 p.m. Monday to Wednesday at the church. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Cory Wade and Jerusalem Quinn Baptist Church on Monday, the Rev. Darrick Erby and the Greater Commission Church of God in Christ on Tuesday and the Rev. Doyle McGhee and Willow Grove Baptist Church on Wednesday. Everyone is invited.

Springhill Baptist Church: A senior citizen’s day will be held at noon today at the church. There will be fun games, prizes, food and fellowship. A second appreciation celebration honoring Pastor Kenneth and Sis. Sandra Harris will be held at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the church. The guest speaker will be Dr. Michael Singleton of Christ Centered Ministry of Farmerville, Louisiana.

Starlight Baptist Church: A family and friends day will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at he church, located at 1406 Detroit St., El Dorado. Special guest will be pastor Anthony Traylor and the New Eastside baptist Church. Everyone is invited to attend.

Union Mission Baptist Church: The 72nd Church Anniversary will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, located at 1621 South E. Hillsboro, El Dorado. The guest evangelist will be the Rev. James George pf Mount Zion Lockhart and Macedonia Church. The theme is “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18.

Wesson St. Church of God in Christ: An annual pastor’s aid will be held at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the church, located at 1221 E. Wesson, El Dorado. Guest speaker will be the Rev. David Cook. Everyone is invited.
