Benjamin L. Daniel was born to Louis T. Daniel and Helen Marie Green Daniel on September 6, 1951 in Homer, Louisiana. He was a member of First St. James MBC, where he served as an Usher.
He was preceded in death by his father Louis T. Daniel; brother Robert Daniel; son Kevin Daniel and step-son Stephen Smith. Survivors are his mother Helen Daniel of El Dorado; children Antwinn Daniel and Cynthia Daniel both of El Dorado; brother Andrew Daniel of El Dorado; sisters, Carolyn Daniel of Alexandra, Ark., Cheryl Brady of Puyallup, Wash., Cynthia Woods and Shakeitha Steele both of Little Rock and Toria Williams of West Point, NY.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 at First St. James Baptist Church with Rev. Roy C. Aaron, eulogist.
