Marie Tydingco Meshell age 89 of Strong, AR went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, November 4, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. Marie was born on January 12, 1928 in Asan, Guam to the late Delores Affleje Tydingco and Jose Cruz Tydingco. She married Charlie Meshell on February 10, 1950 in Guam and then moved to Arkansas, where she lived in Strong for 65 years. Marie was a member of First Baptist Church of Strong where she served on the hospitality committee for many years. Anyone who ate a meal, pie or cake made by Marie was always in or a special treat. Her smile was contagious and she was always willing to help anyone.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Charlie Meshell and by 12 siblings.

Survivors include; two sons, David Meshell and wife Iris of Strong, AR, Richard Meshell and wife Crol of Benton, AR; one daughter, Joyce Meshell of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren, Dana Meshell of Grapevine, TX, Kevin Meshell of Reno, NV, Brian Meshell of Bentonville, AR, Jonathan Meshell of Bryant, AR and Hayden Meshell of Fayetteville, AR; one sister, Josefa San Nicolas of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Richard Tydingco of Ramona, CA and obert Tydingco of Lakewood, CO

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Strong with Bro. Scotty Guillot officiating. Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado. Special thanks to Iris Meshell for being the best daughter-in-law. Marie enjoyed their many trips to El Dorado and going out to eat, she loved you so much. Thank you to Nelia Jones who helped Marie these last 20 years around the house, showing her how to cook special dishes and just being a good friend also, thanks to Jeri Carroll for being her sweet friend these last 10 months of living in Dallas with her daughter, Joyce.

Pallbearers will by Gene Blevins, Scott Fife, James Gunter, Dayne Ibert, Glenn Knox and Steve Russell.
