LORINE S. DECKARD
Lorine Short Reynolds Deckard, 89 of El Dorado, passed away, Sunday, March 19. She was born May 14, 1927, to Oris W. and Josie Preston Short in Bradley.
She was a self-employed antique and novelty dealer and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband of 55 years, Jimmy O. Reynolds; daughter, Janice Jo Reynolds Summerville and brothers, Paul H. Short, Benny Drew Short and Billy Short.
Survivors include her husband, Jack E. Deckard of El Dorado; sister, Ruby Lee Cameron (Gerald) of Forney, Texas; brother, Kenneth Short of Felsenthal; three grandchildren, Lorie Ann Barham (Robert) of Homer, Louisiana, Charles Ray Sellers (Michelle) of Smackover and Cindy Williams (Clay) of Louann; 10 great-grandchildren, Kimberly Bussell (Max), Brandon Bussell (Misty), Robert Barham, Jr., Ashley Masters (Ryan), Timothy Thurlkill (Brittany), Casey Howe, Colby Howe (Linda), Kastle Howe (Heath), Kayla Waters and Morgan Johnson and seven great-great-grandchildren, Tucker Masters, Makenna Thurlkill, Grayden Howe, Taylen Howe, London Patterson, Blake Stanley and Trinity Stanley.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Young’s.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 22 at Young’s Chapel with Dr. J.D. Weido officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to the John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
