A memorial service will be held for Clarence Michael Hansen, 68, of De Kalb, Texas, at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017, at His House Ministries with Pastor Greg Hansen officiating.

Clarence Michael Hansen died Monday, March 6, 2017, at his home in De Kalb.

He was born in El Dorado, on March 20, 1948, to the late Clarence Hansen and the late Bertie Sue Caldwell.

Reared and educated in El Dorado, he was in the U.S. Navy for four years and later retired from being self employed as an electrical journeyman. He moved to Texas 20 years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Adams Hansen of De Kalb, to whom he was married on May 19, 1999, in Winnsboro, Texas; daughters, Michelle Gibson and her husband, Brian, of Memphis, Tennessee, and Raven Hansen Hardin of Bartlett, Tennessee; step-daughters, Dee Dee Fincher of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Karen Roberts of De Kalb; sisters, Susan Weiss and her husband, Jack, of Perryville; Jorinda Hall of Tucson; Karen Hansen of Winnsboro; Cecilia Bull and her husband, Duane, of Winnsboro; brother, Greg Hansen and his wife, Sherrie, of Winnsboro; Rock Hansen and his wife, Janet, of El Dorado; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Hansen was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Hansen.
