Gardner High School Alumni Inc. Salutes Scholar

EL DORADO — Dr. Christopher Len Johnson received his Educational Doctorate May 12, 2017 from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. His dissertation title was ” How the Response to intervention model utilized by an External Provider in an Urban Setting.”

He received his educational specialist in 2014 and Masters in Education in 2012 from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. His Bachelors of Science was received in 2005 from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock and was a 2000 honor graduate from El Dorado High School where he was a track star.

He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and a member of the Springhill Baptist Church in Louisiana where the Rev. Kenneth Harris is pastor. He is also active with numerous professional and community organizations.

He is the son of Louis Johnson of El Dorado. His parents are retired educators of the El Dorado School system and the grandson of the late Reginald Johnson of Strong and the late Louis White of Opeloucas, Louisiana.

Dr. Johnson is Employed as assistant principal of at Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville.

Gardner High School Alumni Inc. consists of Lucy Melvin, President, a retired assistant professor and Librarian at Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana and Fay Daniel Grant, treasurer and Chairman of the Scholarship Committee, and a retired principal in Pine Bluff.
