Fellowship Baptist Church: Christmas at Fellowship will be held at the church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Guest speaker will be Pastor E.C. Morgan and Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church. The theme will be, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Everyone is invited to attend.
Curry Chapel Church: The Charity Concert Choir annual benefit concert will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church. The Charity Concert Choir’s mission is to help the sick and downtrodden by ministering through song and providing financial support to people who have been devastated in their finances. New Home Baptist Church: The 114th Anniversary will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. Guest church and the speaker will be Bishop Rhodric Randle and Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Guest choir will be Mt. Olive Baptist Church and The Randle Family. The theme will be, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches; To him that overcometh will I give eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” All neighboring churches are invited to join them in their services.
East Main Baptist Church: The Adult Choir and Children will present “The Greatest Story Ever Told” at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church.
New Jerusalem Christian Ministry: Ten-year anniversary pastoral service for Sister LaDebra and Brother George Vanhook Jr. will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the church. Thursday’s guest speaker will be Pastor Gayle Williams of Free Union A.M.E. Church and Friday’s will be Evangelist Cynthia Williams of Sunlight C.O.G.I.C. Pastor Darrick Erby of Great Commission C.O.G.I.C will be the guest speaker at 3 p.m. Dec. 17 at the church. Anniversary theme is “Justified and Glorified.”
Little Bethel Baptist Church: Appreciation program for Minister Casey Wade will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, 3761 S. Jackson Ave. The program will be hosted by Pastor Leon Miller and the guest speaker will be Pastor Corey Wade and Jerusalem Quinn Church.
Triumph Church of God in Christ: Pastor’s Appreciation Celebration for Elder Clara Scott to be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 16 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 17. The special guest on Saturday will be Elder Mary Hart. The guest speaker on Sunday will be Minister Earlene Burns. Guest choirs on Sunday will be Faith in the Word Mass Choir and Gospel Echoes. Elder Martha Briggs will serve as emcee on both days. The public is invited to attend.
Greater Powerhouse of Deliverance: Annual Christmas Program will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at the church, 1131 W. 19th St., El Dorado. Speaker will be Bishop Fred Harris from Little Rock, and guest churches will be Life Abundant Ministries, Divine Faith Fellowship, New Hope C.O.G.I.C., Bouldware Temple Church of God and Christ, and Grace and Mercy Ministries.
Calvary Missionary Baptist Church: Change of service due to Christmas holiday will be held at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 22. There will be no Sunday service on Dec. 24.
