For the second year, members of St. Paul United Methodist Church will host their Bethlehem Marketplace from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, 700 W. Eighth St., El Dorado.

“Last year we had a gym full of vendors selling everything from make-up to fairy gardens. This year proves to be no different. Our space is limited, so we choose the cream of the crop when we look for vendors,” said Liz Slater, director of Bethlehem Marketplace at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Sandy Maguire is co-director.

Members of the church’s W.O.W. (Worship Our Way) kids will have a booth to sell items they have handcrafted.

“Catch a ride on the golf cart to whisk you to the top of the hill and deposit you right next to the baked goods table. While you shop, your kids can paint a ceramic Christmas ornament ($5), you can get your Christmas presents wrapped (priced by size), all while you find fabulous Christmas decorations and gifts,” she said.

“While you’re there, visit ‘Mary & Martha’s Kitchen’ for soup and a sandwich. This year’s menu includes potato soup, tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, or a hot turkey sandwich,” Slater said.

Proceeds from Bethlehem Marketplace will fund a number of St. Paul Children and Family Ministries. For more information or take-out lunch orders, call 862-4242.
