Lodine Wade Jones, 81, of El Dorado, was called home on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
She was born on June 25, 1936 in El Dorado, to Charlie and Mildred Kilgore Wade. She was a member of Union Mission Baptist Church and later Little Bethel Baptist Church. She was employed by Union Medical Center for many years and later the El Dorado School System.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Rebecca Wade; her husband, Henry Wesley Jones; and a sister, Janie Faye Wade.
Lodine leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Casey S. Wade (Betty) and Corey J.Wade (Jeanette), both of El Dorado; two daughters, Brenda D. Stanley (Victor) of Smackover and Cacita Jamerson (Cleo) of El Dorado; one sister, Dora Jackson of Detroit, Michigan; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev.Robert Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.
Viewing will be from 1 until 5 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday in Andrews Chapel.
