A 21-year-old Strong man was arrested on charges of having sexual relations with a minor.
Patrick Thomas, of Strong, was arrested in Camden by the Arkansas State Police on an outstanding warrant from Union Parish Sheriff’s Office for allegedly having sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl.
Thomas has been charged with a felony for carnal knowledge of a juvenile and is being held on a bond of $15,000 at the parish detention center in Farmerville, Louisiana.
The alleged incident happened in March and a warrant was issued by investigators. He was arrested in Camden on the warrant and was held at Ouachita County Detention Center until he had an extradition trial where he waived extradition to Union Parish where he was jailed on Aug. 21.
Investigators also said that Thomas has an outstanding warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile with the Farmerville Police Department allegedly involving the same 13-year-old girl.
