South Arkansas Community College was bustling with a number of activities Monday (above), including the first day of fall classes and these students, staff and local residents, who gathered to watch the solar eclipse. The school’s library auditorium was full of people filling out applications to work for the new Murphy Arts District, scheduled to have their grand opening Sept. 27-Oct.1.
