ROBERT TRUCKS
Robert Trucks, 75, of the Trucksville Community near Rison, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Trucks was born Feb. 26, 1942 in Rison, to the late A.E. and Charlotte Blackstock Trucks. He was owner of Trucks & Sons and a life-long member of Rison Baptist Church. Robert was a devoted father and a dear friend to all.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Trucks was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Glover Trucks; two brothers, John Edward Trucks, and James David Trucks; and one brother-in-law, Mack Hudson.
He is survived by two sons, Bryan Trucks and wife, Tonya, of Bentonville, and Chris Trucks of Trucksville; one daughter, Christie Walls and husband, Jimmy, of White Hall; and six grandchildren, Abbie Walls, Nicholas Trucks, Clark Trucks, Maddison Trucks, Justin Trucks and Jared Trucks.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Rison Baptist Church in Rison with Brother Danny Allen and Brother Wade Totty officiating.
Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Trucksville.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., today at the church.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Boldon, Cleve Reed, Vernon Dollar, Lamar Jennings, Tommy Butcher and Ricky Fore.
Memorials in Mr. Trucks’ honor may be made to Rison Baptist Church, Jesus First Building Fund, P. O. Box 404, Rison, Arkansas 71665. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
