Letters to the Editor, 4-19-17

To The Editor:

To the person who took out a crepe myrtle bush and a maple tree on Madison Avenue.

Was it alcohol, drugs or cell phone problems? Whatever the cause, you didn’t stop to take care of the damages. You could have been killed or badly hurt, because you had to be driving very fast.

You need to get help. The life you save could be your own.

Your red or maroon vehicle had to be heavily damaged as there was lots of glass and part of a mirror on my driveway.

Give it some thought.

Walk For Christ a Success

To the Editor:

Sunday, April 9 was an amazing day for community. We had 130 men and women and children come out to express their love for Jesus in the Walk For Christ.

The weather was perfect and God’s Holy Spirit was flowing down North West Avenue.

Our amazing 6 that played their instruments as we walk singing Jesus Loves Me, When the Saints Go Marching In and Onward Christian Soliders. Thank you Courtney Orr for organizing such a great group.

I want to thank Our Lord and Saviour for his Grace and Mercy and for everyone that volunteered played such a big role in this event, including the EPD, UCSO, Karla Darden, Kevin and Carla Peace, Galilee Sunday School Class, Airagas, Parkers Chapel Methodist Church.

2018 will be just as awesome!
