PENNY CLINE
Penny Cline, 84, of El Dorado, went to be with her Lord on May 23, 2016.
She was born July 5, 1931, to William F. “Bill” and Minnie E. Dison Jackson in Frenchport. Penny was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her loving husband, the Rev. Pete Cline; three sisters, Ola “Punkin” Hall, Zady Lang, and Edith Nelms; brother, Andrew Jackson; son, Charles Randall Cline; and two grandsons, Melvin Eugene “Gene” Cline Jr., and Charles Wayne Cline.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Melvin Eugene Cline (Lynda) of Springdale; two brothers, William Terry “Ship” Jackson of Louann, Rufus R. “Doc” Jackson (Alma) of Pasadena, Texas; five grandchildren, Lisa Koon (David), Robin Hines (Jimmy), Amanda Cline, John Swint (Krystal), and Aaron Cline; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today, at Young’s.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Grace Bible Church with Bro. Danny Donahoe, the Rev. Chris Cleveland, and the Rev. Greg Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
