Former Junction City assistant coach Mike Barrett has passed away.
Junction City Public Schools made the annoucement on their Facebook page Wednesday afternoon stating: "The Junction City School District mourns the loss of Coach Mike Barrett. He went to be with the Lord this morning. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family. Mike will always be remembered as a great teacher, dedicated coach, and an amazing friend. He truly is and will always be a member of the Dragon Family. As soon as arrangements are known, we will pass them along. Please pray for his family during this difficult time."
