I.N. “Butch” Braswell, 75, of Marysville, passed from this life on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at his residence.
He was born on July 11, 1938, in Union County, to Allen B. Braswell and Gertrude (White) Braswell.
I.N. was a longtime member of Marysville United Methodist Church and was a retired painting contractor. I.N. enjoyed being outdoors, formerly enjoyed fishing and especially liked tending to his cows.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Martha Braswell; second wife, Delores Braswell; and by one brother, T.C. Braswell
Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Toni King and husband, Bob; two sons, Gregory Braswell, Steve Braswell and wife, Judy, all of Marysville; six grandchildren, Mandy Ochs, Kory King, Rachael Jones, Jordan Braswell, Jennifer Bridges and Kayce Combs; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen Howell and husband, Hugh, of Marysville, and Carolyn Watkins, of El Dorado; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. today at Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Marysville Cemetery with Bro. Larry Goza officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
The family will be at the Braswell home at 6731 Shuler Road in Marysville.
