Willie Elliott, 95, of Taylor and formerly of Magnolia, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013, at her home in Taylor.  

She was born on Dec. 19, 1917, in Mount Holly, to William Thomas “Buddy” and Jennette (Payne) Lewis.  She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Elliott; and two brothers, Press Lewis, and Glen Lewis.

Willie is survived by her son, William R. “Bill” Elliott, of Taylor; five grandchildren, Robert Elliott and wife, Dana, of Corrigan, Texas, Chris Elliott of Maumelle, Tonya Belk and husband, Brian, of Greenbrier, Amber Newton and husband, Bryan, and Heather Hawkins and husband, Kenneth, all of Little Rock; 13 grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Stephens Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home Inc., in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be from 4-6 this evening at the funeral home.
