Frances Murry, 90, of Warren, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the Hospice of Wake County in Raleigh, N.C. 

She was born June 16, 1922, in Warren, a daughter of Henry Clay Jarratt and Alma B. Mannes Jarratt. She was a graduate of the Warren Public School System, and a member of the First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She retired from Ark-La Gas Co. in 1984 and worked for Martins Department Store for 20 years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, JoAn Jarratt Scogin.

Survivors include her son, Don Murry of Wake Forest, N.C.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Frazer’s Funeral Home Chapel in Warren. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
