City Arrests:

• David Holmes, 58, of 624 Marrable Hill, was arrested Thursday for shoplifting. Holmes is accused of trying to steal four flat screen TVs from Walmart Supercenter, 2730 N. West Ave. Employees said they detained him until El Dorado police arrived.
