Thomas Willis, 77, of Norphlet, and formerly of Magnolia, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, Arkansas.

He was born on Sept. 4, 1935 in Columbia County to the late Roy Newton and Rose Lee (Dodson) Willis. He was a cutter for Shanhouse and Bearden Enterprises, a member of the Norphlet Baptist Church and enjoyed tending his garden.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Willis.

Survivors are his three sons, Michael Thomas Willis of Magnolia, Gary Alan Willis of McNeil and Kenneth Ray Willis and wife, Maria of Tyler, Texas; two daughters, Lisa Lucy and husband, Robert of Norphlet and Michelle Kirk and husband, Brad of Marysville; 10 grandsons; four granddaughters; one great-grandson; seven great-granddaughters; a brother, Leroy Willis and wife, Martha; a sister, Sue Elmore and husband, Amos; and a sister-in-law, Venna Willis all of Magnolia.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8 at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.

Memorials May be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Road, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730.

Pallbearers will be Lindy Long, Chris Willis, Kenneth Alan Willis, Gary Willis II, Alex Adams, and Donovan Willis.
