Rosie Lee Hall, 93, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Born Feb. 22, 1919, in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Ervin Burgie and Irene Goodwin Burgie. She was a retired cook with Warner Brown Hospital and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church No. 2. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey “Red” Hall; a grandson, Greg Wheeler; two sisters, Arizona Amis and Odessa Carter; and four brothers, Sam Burgie, J. Hue Burgie, Jack Burgie and Willie Seales.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Hall and Curtis Hall, both of El Dorado; four daughters, Barbara Hanson and Erma Savannah of El Dorado, Martha Thompson of Pine Bluff, and Janie Soils of Los Angeles; four sisters, Earlie Teen Brown and Erma Nunley of El Dorado, and Bertha Wilkins and Neomia Russell of San Angelo, Texas; 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Public viewing will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Felton Burgie officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.

The family will be at 2719 N. College Ave.
