NOTICE TO BIDDERS El Dorado School District is accepting sealed proposals for 9200 square feet of vinyl flooring and 2400 square feet of carpet furnished and installed at Barton Junior High School in accordance with the specifications and instruction to bidders, prepared by an official of the school district or its agent. Bids will be received at the office of the DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE, El Dorado School District, 200 West Oak Street, El Dorado, Arkansas until Friday, May 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. and then publicly opened and read. For Bids over $20,000.00 A bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to five percent of the total bid must accompany the bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the BIDDER will promptly enter into a contract with the El Dorado School District, as outlined in the specifications and instructions to bidders. Successful bidder over $20,000.00 must provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. No substitute will be acceptable in lieu of the performance and payment bond. Specifications and instructions may be procured from the office of the DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE, 200 West Oak Street, El Dorado, Arkansas. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating prices in the proposal, the OWNER reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation thereof, or to reject the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all formalities.
