A Huttig alderman-elect was recently hit with a $2,000-plus lawsuit alleging he owes St. Vincent Health Systems for medical bills left unpaid over the last year.
According to a complaint for collection of debt, John Osgood, who beat out Marcus Barr for the Ward 3, Position 1 seat, is indebted $2,407.65 for services performed in August 2011.
On top of the outstanding medical bills, St. Vincent is asking for attorney’s and court cost fees of $415.97.
Osgood has yet to return calls seeking comment.
