Benjamin C. Taylor, 48, of El Dorado, was found dead inside his residence at 909 W. Faulkner, the apparent victim of a homicide, according to the El Dorado Police Department.
Details have been limited, however, the police have reported that Taylor was found covered in blood and pronounced dead at the scene by Union County Coroner Curtis Butterfield.
EPD Capt. Kevin declined to comment on the type or extent of Taylor’s injuries. The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy.
As of now, the police are attempting to put together a timeline of where Taylor was before his body was discovered by his adult son.
