The temperature this afternoon is described by one soul-crushing word on the National Weather Service website: “hot.” But a cold front moving in this weekend could offer some relief.
Thursday through Tuesday is expected to be marked by a cold front which will “move across the four-state area on Saturday bringing widespread thunderstorms, some of which could be severe late Friday and for much of Saturday.”
For tonight, the National Weather Service predicts only a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms.
