Through Tuesday night thunderstorms are 60 percent likely, according to the National Weather Service which in a release cautioned against severe storms and damaging wind, according to the Associated Press.
In El Dorado specifically, showers are most likely after 7 p.m. on Monday and after 1 p.m. on Tuesday. On Wednesday, those chances are expected to drop to 50 percent and continue decreasing until Friday when the potential rainfall is only at 20 percent.
Highs over the next week are estimated in the high 80s and low 90s, according to the NWS.
