Twitter debate set for fourth district

As the election season begins to rear its ugly head candidates in the fourth congressional district are preparing to wage linguistic war in 140 characters or less this Wednesday on Twitter, according to Talk Business.

The debate is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday using the #ar4 hashtag. Anyone can post questions using the hashtag.

Marcus Richmond and Tom Cotton are confirmed, though no word yet about Beth Anne Rankin. As the event is being hosted by the Arkansas Federation of College Republicans, Democrat Gene Jeffress hasn’t been invited.
