Fair condition reported for one victim in Sunday’s Parkers Chapel Road wreck

A local man is in fair condition after being trapped within his vehicle Sunday evening following a wreck on Parkers Chapel Road, according to a representative of the LSU Medical Center, where he was airlifted.

The extent of the injuries sustained by Adam Wood, 28, who was driving the vehicle when it crashed into a tree, is not known by the Union County Sheriff’s Office — who responded to the report of the accident — and could not be released per federal laws by the Shreveport hospital.

Robyn Brown, 29, was discovered by responding deputies laying on the ground and immobile next to the vehicle. She sustained “what appeared to be severe damage to her lower extremities,” according to the report.

She was transported to the Medical Center of South Arkansas and airlifted to St. Joseph’s in Hot Springs, however, today the hospital had no record of her in its care. Deputies with the UCSO didn’t know where she was transported after the MCSA.

The final passenger was transported with a fractured elbow to MCSA and released later that day.

Alcohol containers and fireworks were strewn about the vehicle, according to the report.
