Arrest made in the SAU horse theft

One arrest has been made and several could be pending in the federal investigation into the theft of four horses — one of which was found dead — from Southern Arkansas University’s Mulerider stables.

Jaci Jackson, 18, McCurtain County, Okla., who is an SAU student and a member of the rodeo team, will face six felony counts in Arkansas and three in Oklahoma, where the horses were found, according to the Magnolia Banner-News.

Warrants have reportedly been issued for two more individuals in Oklahoma.
