Sawyer Brown to replace Easton Corbin at MusicFest

Main Street El Dorado Director Mark Givens announced this morning that Sawyer Brown will take the place of Easton Corbin at MusicFest.

Corbin cancelled late last week citing a throat illness leaving MusicFest organizers in the lurch as they scrambled to find a replacement for the Friday night opening slot.

More in tomorrow’s News-Times about Brown’s upcoming performance. In the meantime, let me know what you think:

I’ve heard they have a great live show. I’m sure they will be good. If you wanna hear some good country music earlier in the day, come check out Cousin Earl @ 1:30pm on the South stage on Saturday!

I was definitely planning on checking out Cousin Earl, KC-Alonzo mentioned that you guys would put on a good show. Looking forward to it!

I don’t know what either one sings, so it doesn’t matter to me. But Tone Loc on the other hand taught me to stay away from that Funky Cold Medina at a early age!! ;)
