Union County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Bill Hickman confirmed this morning that there was a wreck on Iron Mountain Road Saturday night that flipped the vehicle and ejected the driver.
The victim was transported to the hospital via ProMed Ambulance which responded to the incident at about 10:45 p.m. alongside deputies from the UCSO and a trooper from the Arkansas State Police.
However, details are still fuzzy as ASP Trooper Jeff Hust is the investigating officer in the incident and won’t be in the office to write the report until Friday at the earliest, according to a representative with ASP Troop F.
There was what looked like a fairly bad accident (at least one rear wheel was gone from one of the cars) on the Lousiana side of Haynesville Hwy. Saturday afternoon. An ambulance and what 5 Parish SO cars were there.
