If you’re venturing outside this afternoon and evening be warned, there is a heat advisory in effect as the heat index creeps up to 106 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Both beat and humidity look like they’re going to stick around for quite awhile with 102 degrees accompanied by a 35 percent humidity today making everything just a little bit (or a lot) sticky.
To everyone who warned me when I first moved here: You win. I believe you now.
There is also between a 20 and 30 percent chance of showers everyday for the foreseeable future that may cool things down if we actually get some precipitation. Quick, someone go wash your car!

It’s Wednesday!!! Ain’t it supposed to snow???
It is a little chilly out today. I mean I stepped outside and didn’t immediately break into a sweat.
I did miss my Wednesday laugh. Sad part about it is that I was a little late last week and missed my last week’s Wednesday laugh too. Can I look for a return of it next Wednesday?
I’m about to post this week’s right now, AFM. Last week’s caused so much controversy that I was told to take it down.
