Union County Sheriff’s Office investigators have made two arrests in the investigation into Mary Cross’ death.
Cross, 65, whose body was discovered within her vehicle submerged in a creek in Norphlet, had been missing for approximately a month before she was discovered.
According to UCSO Chief Deputy Bill Hickman, the medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. Hickman wouldn’t give further details citing the continuing investigation.
