For all the loyal blog readers out there — and I’m hoping the readership is increasing — I wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that I’ll be gone Wednesday through Sunday this week to go home for my sister’s college graduation.
However, before there are any tears and wrenching of hair at the thought of no Between Editions posts until next week, I’ve absconded Heather Hawley, another reporter from the newsroom, to take over the blog in my absence.

FYI, I started laughing in the solitude of the airport terminal when I read these Wednesday morning waiting for my plane to show up. I received some funny looks from standers-by at my for-no-apparent-reason laughter. Kudos, guys!
