Obama announces 2012 campaign

Does this mean he won’t come hype everyone up again? How in the world will he ever get reelected without hypnotizing the people with flowery speeches?

UPDATE: Tim Pawlenty’s response — does anyone else half expect a spandex-clad Pawlenty to come flying in (alongside Air Force One) Superman style?

    Let’s have our own vote…

Who things this blog should try and limit itself to local and at worst state news?

My vote is local/state. This other stuff I can and do get anywhere. The one thing that This blog has to offer (other than my critic of Allison’s reporting style) is that it covers El Dorado.

  2. ArVet says:

Regarding local and state only – are we that provincial? and, what the heck is wrong about Admin’s reporting style?

  3. James says:

He can’t use flowery speeches with no substance. The people won’t fall for that scam again.

  4. The lone reader says:

ArVet, it has nothing to do with being provincial. It has to do with the thousands of web sites and other sources for news like the one in this story. There is no localization of the story so it is available everywhere. The only reason to frequent this site is to get news that isn’t available everywhere else.

And as for Allison’s reporting style, it was more of a joke than anything else. I called her on some issues when she first joined the NT staff.

  5. Ken Hamilton says:

National and world news is also covered in the News-Times. So there is no reason for this News-Times blog to not cover national and world news. Plus this a place for News-Times readers to interact on local, national, and world news.
