AAP makes new booster seats recommendations

Parents and smallish teens alike may not be happy, but the American Academy of Pediatrics has updated its guidelines for car, convertible and booster seats.

Many teenagers — especially girls — don’t breech the 5-foot mark until well after 16 years of age. Per the recommendations, it sounds as if 4′ 11″ teens are expected to show up for their driver’s license test with a booster seat in hand.
