Regardless of the article’s age, it’s good to read. Some time back, I was listening to Oldies 95.7 from Shreveport, where I used to work, and heard Larry Ryan on the morning show speaking well of El Dorado. If we could just get more of the people who live here to speak well of the city…or at least quit griping about it so much!
Yeah, and for those who constantly say “There ain’t nothing to do around here”, I say you ain’t looking very hard! There is always something going on every weekend (plays, concerts, live music downtown, etc.), but you’re not going to find it by sitting on your big fat posterior on the sofa eating Cheetos!

I did enjoy the read though, nice to know (even a year ago) that big city folk still like small towns for a weekend getaway.
