A string of dead dogs in Huttig over the past two days has caused concern that strychnine — a poison used to kill gophers and moles — could also come in contact with children playing in their yards.
Huttig Police Chief Byron Sartor is warning Huttig parents to keep a close eye on their kids while playing outside.
