Following the ceremony, the center will hold an open house until 6 p.m.

beautiful building, what all will the city be using the building for beside South Ark college classes? It really is very nice and I’m glad it is finished, it really is a wonderful addition to our city. Thankful we have the new building. Hope our city can make more improvements to have the whole area looking nicer. Looking forward to having the new high school completed. It looks great too.
From what I’ve heard at the various meetings concerning the conference center, there are a number of events planned up through April as of now. The first will be a Boy Scout of America event, the second will be the Entrepreneurship Conference hosted by the college on March 3-4.
Is there a site we can go to to get all upcoming events to be hosted there…and elsewhere around the city?
According to Ginny Garner, the director of the conference center, those renting out facilities have the option of asking their events not be publicized. Those that wish for the publicity will have their events posted to the conference center website and the Chamber of Commerce website.
She added that a calendar will be available in around 10-15 days.
