The National Weather Service has upped the forecast for tomorrow to a 100 percent chance of snow with at least 3-7 inches expected.
I, for one, will be avoiding Wal-Mart tonight like the plague.

I do that when the forecast is sunny and 80.
Wise move. Too bad there aren’t many other options in town as far as grocery shopping goes.
Ever hear of Brookshires? It’s a super market with two conveniently located stores in El Dorado. I, for one, just don’t understand the cult-like mentality of you Wal-Mart folks.
PS – As a personal choice I have never been in a Wal-Mart store. I can find anything I want in stores in the El Dorado area.
I’ve heard of Brookshire’s, of course, but as a recent college graduate repaying loans and living on a strict budget I’ve had to forsake quality in lieu of cheaper prices at Wal-Mart. Personally, I detest Wal-Mart (actually I hate grocery shopping period), but the prices are much lower, though the goods — particularly produce — are considerably less in quality. However, I’m not by any means a Wal-Mart person.
Young lady (and I can call you that, I’m 75) check out the two inserts in today’s paper. Brookshires’ add is forthright and honest with their sales. O n the other hand, I wonder how many other folks have noticed that Wal-Mart’s slick “every day low prices” do not indicate the price on any item on either page of the insert -tell you anything about the mentality of Wal-Mart (or else) shoppers?
PS – the ElDo News has gone up a couple of notches since you arrived.
ArVet, you never cease to entertain me, which is a good thing I promise. I suppose I’ll have to check out Brookshire’s for grocery shopping and see how it compares with Wal-Mart.
And thank you, I’m glad you think I’m making a worthwhile contribution to the News-Times.
