A woman could be heard on the police scanner about an hour ago worried about a powdery, crystalline substance on her lawn, and asked that someone be sent to check it out.
Immediately, everyone in the newsroom just kind of chuckled, commenting that it could be snow from the few flakes we were blessed with earlier today. However, that was not the case. Moments later her son called the police to inform them that he’s had her lawn treated and had forgotten to tell her.
