The fabulously-timeless Cher will re-debut in “Burlesque” on Nov. 24 in one of a miniscule number of appearances in which her predominant role is not one of a performer (though she will almost undoubtedly showcase that voice of hers in the film), but rather as an actress.
Christina Aguilera, her partner in crime once famously known for her top hit “Genie in a Bottle,” will star alongside the 70s-era starlet to bring to life the classic story of a misplaced small town girl trying to make it big in the city (ie: Los Angeles).
Steve Antin wrote and directed the feature which is set to be released in only six days, timing out well with the holidays in its opening the day before Thanksgiving.
