A couple of Unfit Mothers, Building 429 and MIKESCHAIR hit the El Dorado stage Friday night

Several musical groups will be stopping into El Dorado to make appearances and give a slew of unique performances.

The most unfit of the Unfit Mothers — nickname coined by music columnist Rod Harrington — will be offering an acoustic performance Friday night at The Mink Eye on South Jefferson just below Main Street.

Mark Dodson and Jon Bourn, one-half of the group, will perform their acoustic set tonight before being joined by Chris Vickers and Jordan Camp for a gig at Tsunami in Monroe, La.

Also hitting the stage in El Dorado, Building 429 and MIKESCHAIR will be in concert tomorrow night at the Rialto Music Hall on East Cedar. Tickets are currently on sale for $10 at the Immanuel Baptist Church Office at 701 S. West Avenue.

Doors open at 9:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 10 p.m.

For more information check out Harrington’s column in tomorrow’s edition of the News-Times.
