A busy night for El Dorado

Two separate events will be vying for some holiday attention this evening in El Dorado.

The annual holiday lighting ceremony will take place at the Union County Courthouse at 7 p.m. bringing with it the promise of an even brighter light show than the city has seen in past years.

On the other end of the cheery spectrum this evening, the Sports Alley at 107 E. Cedar St. will be hosting the Fourth Annual Night for Sebastian from 6-9 p.m. All proceeds will go the the Sebastian T. Webb Memorial Fund of the Union County Community Foundation which helps to support neonatal care in south Arkansas.

Though we’re currently at 54 degrees, lows are expected to be in the high 30s tonight, so grab a sweater and your loved ones for an evening of holiday fun (albeit maybe a little early considering we’re still in the pre-Thanksgiving phase of the year).
