In our neck of the woods, Wal-Mart and the Waltons together displayed an obvious Republican favoring by donating $4.9 million as a company and $1.9 million by individual members candidates and causes on the right. A massive 76 percent of the contribution ($3.7 million) went into Republican pockets, while only 20 percent ($967,070) went to fund Democratic efforts.
