A gravel truck overturned at 11:24 a.m. instantly killing the driver who had been traveling west on U.S. 167 B and had difficulty in maneuvering through the tri-pointed intersection at North West Avenue, El Dorado Police said.
According to several witnesses the truck rolled into a ditch on the west side of the road after jerking to the right to avoid oncoming traffic headed north on North West Avenue.
Police had cleared the scene by 2 p.m.
