Candidate forums

The El Dorado Chamber of Commerce, El Dorado News-Times and Noalmark Broadcasting Corp. will host a candidate forum at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday.
A Congressional Forum, featuring the incumbent, Democrat Congressman Mike Ross, of Prescott, and his Republican challenger, Beth Anne Rankin of Magnolia, will begin at 6 p.m.
The District 6 State Representative Forum will begin at 7 p.m., featuring Democrat Ken Bridges and Republican Matthew Shepherd. 
News-Times Managing Editor Shea Wilson and Steve Harrell of Noalmark Broadcasting will serve as the media panelists. Mayor Mike Dumas will be the moderator. Both candidate forums will be broadcast live on KELD – FM (106.5). 
The public is invited to submit questions, which will be asked by a media panel. The deadline to submit questions for the forum is at noon on Wednesday. Candidates will not have prior knowledge of the questions or subjects to be covered.
